A&P has honed its specialist expertise in the renewable energy sector by servicing the UK’s expanding offshore wind industry.

A&P’s strategic locations in A&P Tyne and A&P Tees, are ideally located to serve offshore wind projects in the North Sea including East Anglia One, Hornsea, Triton Knoll, Dogger Bank, Humber Gateway, Race Bank and Dudgeon windfarms, as well as others across Europe.

Combined with A&P’s highly experienced project management team, which comprises architects, designers, fabricators and port operations specialists, large-scale fabrication capabilities and experience delivering complex and technically challenging projects, A&P is well placed to deliver a world-class service to the offshore wind sector.

In addition, A&P’s port and marine structures division, provides crew transfer pontoons and operations and maintenance facilities for offshore wind farms.  The team has recently completed the design and build of six new crew transfer pontoons for Dong Energy’s extended Walney Offshore Wind Farm.

A&P Group’s offshore services include engineering support, jack up vessel mobilisation and demobilisation, fabrication and assembly of offshore wind jackets and substations, O&M support including crew transfer vessels and walk to work system installation, manufacture of offshore steel foundations and components as well as blade rack and cable laying carousel fabrication and installation.
