A&P Tyne Welcomes Hybrid Powered Boka Atlantis.
Hybrid powered diving support vessel Boka Atlantis departed A&P Tyne earlier this month following a programme of ship repair works.
The vessel, owned by Boskalis, entered dry dock in January for its 10-day work programme.
Boka Atlantis’ scope of works included painting of the vessel’s hull and topsides, polishing of the thruster blades and high pressure washing of cooler boxes as well as the overhaul of 30 fairlead rollers. The team also supported OEM with the vessel's 140 tonne crane.
Due to poor weather conditions in the North East, the A&P team were able to travel to Aberdeen, Scotland at short notice to complete the vessel’s deck painting works as scheduled.
Boskalis is a returning customer to A&P Tyne and we were delighted to welcome the Boka Atlantis to our facility and see her return to service.
