A&P Group Celebrates Armed Forces Day.

“Today we celebrate Armed Forces Day and A&P, part of the APCL Group is proud to celebrate our close links with the UK’s military.

“Not only are we proud to serve the Ministry of Defence through our dedicated Defence Division in Falmouth, but also count a number of former service personnel as some of our most valued employees.

“We are Silver Award holders of the MoD’s Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) and this year, we have committed to offering 10 days paid leave to our Reservist and Cadet Adult Forces Volunteer employees.

“Last year, A&P Falmouth was delighted to have hosted the official Armed Forces Day celebrations, which included the Armed Forces Community Conference, a Youth STEM Day as well as hosting the public and VIP delegates for tours of HMS Richmond.

“We are equally proud of the role A&P has played by both building and repairing Royal Navy vessels, supporting the build of the Royal Navy’s Type 26 Frigate and Dreadnought Class Submarine on behalf of BAE Systems and manufactured a substantial part of Her Majesty’s QEC Class Aircraft Carriers on behalf of the Aircraft Carrier Alliance.

Today the APCL Group supports 100% of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA)’s fleet, which sustains our Naval Defence around the world.
