A&P GROUP RAISES THOUSANDS FOR ROYAL NAVAL BENEVOLENT TRUST.
A&P Group has announced it has raised £6,232.58 for their charity of the year, the Royal Naval Benevolent Trust (RNBT).
RNBT provides financial assistance and support to Royal Navy and royal marines personnel and their families in times of need.
The money was raised through A&P’s annual charity golf day, which took place on Thursday the 22nd of June at Falmouth Golf Club.
22 teams took part - made up of A&P and Cammell Laird employees, industry partners and the wider supply chain.
The winning team consisted of Gary Muchan, Martyn Nisbet, David Blizzard and Chris Nicholls, and is pictured with Mike Spicer, Managing Director of A&P Falmouth and Steve Jones, Managing Director of A&P North East, with Paul Kneebone, A&P Group HR Manager.
On Armed Forces Day 2023, Mike Spicer, Managing Director of A&P Falmouth, visited the RNBT stall at the Military Village in Falmouth for a cheque presentation, and to say thank you to the team for their support.
A&P Group named RNBT as their charity of the year in 2021, as a reflection of the Group’s strong heritage with the Defence sector and the work undertaken through the company’s dedicated Defence Division.
A further compelling reason for the choice is that many of A&P Group’s current employees are former service personnel.

A&P Group and Cammell Laird have also been recognised by the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). The company is the recipient of an ERS Silver Award which shows that A&P Group is delivering tangible support for the Armed Forces community.
