NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK AT A&P GROUP.
This week is National Apprenticeship Week which aims to highlight the amazing work being done by employers and apprentices across the country.
A&P Group is extremely proud of our apprenticeship programme and will take this week to introduce some of our apprentices, past and present on LinkedIn.
David McGinley, Chief Executive Officer of Cammell Laird Ship Repairers and Shipbuilders and Atlantic & Peninsula Marine Services, said: “A&P Group’s success is wholly due to its personnel and it is essential that we continue to bring new talent into our business to ensure it remains sustainable for many years to come.
“Our management team is committed to building a sustainable future for A&P and our apprentices play a significant role in developing our business in the future.
“At A&P we want our apprentices to grow in stature, learn from our current employees and build their lives upon a work ethic that promotes a good team ethos. The development of highly skilled trades people has been a major contributor to obtaining the high level of credibility A&P has within the ship repair industry.
“During National Apprenticeship Week 2021 we want to introduce some of our current apprentices and tell the stories of some of our senior management team who began their careers as apprentices with A&P.”
