A&P FALMOUTH STRENGTHENS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM WITH NEW APPOINTMENT.

A&P Falmouth, part of the global ship repair, conversion and marine specialist A&P Group, has appointed Dave Cook as a new Business Development Manager to further expand the facility’s fabrication and machining portfolio.

A&P Falmouth operates one of the most established machining and fabrication facilities in the UK and is fully equipped to deal with large complex and small-scale projects for the marine, energy, utilities, oil and gas and rail and civil sectors. Dave has more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience across these sectors and will now develop new opportunities on behalf of A&P Falmouth and A&P Group across these markets.

A&P Falmouth provides a complete range of services from its onsite engineering, electrical, fabrication and machining workshops. This includes a 4,1092 m2 fabrication workshop and 3500m2 mechanical and machine shop which offers substantial overhead crane capability to allow large or small projects to be carried out including a full overhaul and machining of components to extend their service life. It also includes 18 general purpose lathes to accommodate up to 2.5 m radium components up to 12 meters in length and vertical and horizontal boring machines.

All works are completed on-site and are co-ordinated by highly experienced project management teams and skilled engineers. Each project is meticulously scheduled and planned to ensure each programme of works is completed on time and to budget.
