Renewables Push as Harrick Joins A&P

Global ship repair, conversion and marine specialist A&P Group has announced the appointment of a new Business Development Manager, as the firm pushes further into the renewables sector.   Based at A&P Group’s Tyne facility, Emma Harrick joins A&P Group after several years working in marketing and business development roles as a renewables specialist.

Tasked with expanding A&P Group’s renewables line of business, Emma will focus on leveraging the strength and breadth of the firm’s fabrication expertise, which includes a recent large-scale fabrication for the RRS Sir David Attenborough polar research vessel and a number of oil and gas and renewables projects.   David McGinley, Group Managing Director, A&P Group said: “Emma brings a great deal of industry insight, contacts and enthusiasm to this role and we look forward to really striding forward in this sector.  Such is A&P’s fabrication expertise that we want to ensure the renewables market recognises the transferrable skills, capabilities and expertise we can bring to bear on their large-scale offshore infrastructure projects.  Emma is the perfect ambassador for this line of our business and we welcome her to A&P Group.”
