A&P Tyne boasts the largest commercial dry-dock on the East coast of England as well as two deep water berths and a significant modern fabrication facility complete with panel line, rolling, plasma and gas burning machines.

Providing world class ship repair, conversion and fabrication services across the marine and energy sectors, A&P Tyne offers extensive storage and load-out capabilities and fully equipped workshops to manage all projects from simple ship repairs to major complex ship conversions.

A major centre for defence sector expertise, A&P Tyne has delivered a range of high profile fabrication projects including blocks for the new Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier and the Astute Submarine class, as well as for the new RRS Sir David Attenborough polar explorer vessel.   

Well-located for the UK oil and gas sector, A&P Tyne also has experience building subsea structures for the North Sea.
