A&P Falmouth Ltd are looking for a Fabrication Supervisor, to work primarily at our operations in Falmouth, Cornwall.
Candidates will ideally be qualified and competent in the steel trades with previous experience of working in the ship building / repair industry, the successful candidate will be required to:-
• Supervise personnel and work packages, ensuring that all work is performed to ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards and customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate the ability to plan and control a range of repair and installation activities onboard ships
• Prepare written risk assessments and identify requirements for safe completion of work
• Liaise with Project/Ship Managers, Ship’s Staff, Sub-Contractors and other Supervisors to identify and organise support for work activities
• Liaise with class surveyors and owners’ representatives
• Report potential changes to specification work / extra work
• Possess an awareness of the Company policies and procedures, monitor and ensure compliance
